Darwin to Lichfield Tour Description
Litchfield National Park, located about an hour’s drive from Darwin City, is a renowned attraction with stunning natural landscapes, including rainforests, waterfalls, and plunge pools.
During the tour, there will be a stop at the Adelaide River. Visitors can join the Jumping Crocodile Cruise or visit the Fogg Dam Conservation Centre, located on the traditional lands of the Limilngan-Wulna people. The centre is known for its diverse wildlife, including native birds, turtles, water pythons, and saltwater crocodiles.
We visit century-old monolithic Magnetic Termite Mounds, some of the largest in the Top End. We also take a break to swim in the beautiful natural plunge pools, spas, and whirlpools at Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls in Litchfield.
Next, we visit Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls, magnificent waterfalls carved into steep rocky escarpments.
After a day of relaxation and adventure in the tropical water wonderland, we returned to Darwin feeling rejuvenated.
