Itinerary

We start our coastal loop adventure with a walk along the beautiful Greenhead Three Bays Walks. After lunch at Dynamite Bay, which is part of the Three Bays Walks, we drive along Indian Ocean Drive to enjoy the breathtaking coastal views. On our way to Geraldton, we make a stop at the Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake, a popular attraction just outside of town. Next, we visit the stunning coast of Kalbarri and explore the Natural Bridge. We also take a leisurely walk along Castle Cove. For the night, we stay in the peaceful seaside town of Kalbarri, where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean.

Start early to see the Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window, and the Kalbarri Skywalk. Marvel at the Murchison Gorge at Hawkes Head lookout in Kalbarri National Park. The water has carved its way through the sandstone, creating a beautiful sight. Enjoy bright pops of colour during the wildflower season in spring. Stop at the famous Billabong Roadhouse for lunch and refreshments (at your own expense). It has been serving visitors since 1962. Explore the unique Shell Beach, where the beach is composed entirely of tiny shells. Stay at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, where resident dolphins live nearby. The resort is located in the World Heritage Listed area known as Shark Bay. Relax on the beach, hire a kayak for a paddle (optional extra), or spot turtles, dugongs, emus, and kangaroos in the area.

Optional Activity: Abseil with Kalbarri Abseil – 2 descents

This morning, we will meet the Monkey Mia Dolphins and take some amazing photos. We will also stop in Denham and walk along the foreshore. There, we can enjoy the spectacular cliff views of Shark Bay and spot wildlife like sharks, turtles, rays, and more at Eagle Bluff. After that, we will go to the Overlander Roadhouse, where guests can buy lunch on their own. Then, we will continue south, with photo stops at Galena Bridge and Coronation Beach, before reaching our final overnight stay in Geraldton by the seaside.

You can enjoy the HMAS Sydney Memorial in Geraldton, which offers stunning views. Another attraction in Geraldton is the Point Moore Lighthouse. In Port Denison, you can take a walk along the foreshore and visit the lookout. Continuing along the Indian Ocean road, make a stop in Jurien Bay to walk along the Jetty. Next, visit the seaside town of Cervantes, where you can have a fabulous lunch at the famous Lobster shack and take a guided tour of their Lobster factory. The next destination is the Nambung National Park, known for its strange and eerie Pinnacles Desert. Finally, relax on the bus while enjoying the scenic countryside views on returning to Perth. Drop-offs begin around 6.30 pm.
